One thing we should say, first and foremost, is that we love our job. We are passionate about flooring and love the variety of work and range of clients we get to work with daily. Church Flooring A very exciting commercial flooring project we worked on included the redecoration and floor replacement for St. Mary’s Church in Walsgrave, Coventry. The decoration project involved bringing the beautiful, old building back to its former glory and improving the ambience and atmosphere in the church. Once the decoration was complete, we moved on to the next stage of the project which was to replace the floor which had been down for 30 years. Being an old building, there were significant sub-floor issues which needed fixing. Flooring preparation included timber gullies replacing and the alter steps repaired, all before laying the new floor. With the repairs completed and the new floor laid, the church looks fantastic and back to its former glory. The client selected a durable contract carpet called 'Tretford,' made from natural goat hair. This choice aligned with the church's design and provided a long-lasting floor covering that would endure for many years. This flooring provides several benefits over oiled wooden flooring, including ease of cleaning, durability, and lower maintenance costs. Education Flooring An area of business that we have carried out a lot of work in is education; this includes work for Coventry University and local colleges and carrying out lots of school flooring projects and flooring works for academy schools. Education providers need to look clean, modern and inviting to attract students and keep them engaged. As such, they require a high quality flooring at a competitive price. We have carried out many projects for schools, academies and colleges in and around the Coventry area and also the West Midlands. This includes carrying out lots of flooring works for Henley College, now Coventry College, Pearl Hyde School, Hall Field Prep School, All Souls Primary, Harbury Primary, North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, Bishops Ullathorne School, Hartshill School, Bermuda Studio School, Hinckley College, Westwood School, Sidney Stringer Academy, Aldermore Farm School and Woodside Primary. There are many, many more and we value all of our clients! The work we’ve carried out within the education sector ranges from vinyl floors, Karndean installations, commercial kitchen flooring, carpet tiles and library carpets, to nursery flooring, window blinds and sports hall flooring. The variety of flooring service work we are involved with is great. Hospital Flooring Another area that we have a lot of experience in is hospital flooring. Given the importance of hygiene in healthcare settings, regular cleaning is crucial. It goes without saying, but Hospital floors first and foremost need to be easy to clean and cost-effective to install and maintain. This is why vinyl sheet rubber, and hardwood floor lookalikes (such as luxury vinyl) are ideal for healthcare settings. Not only can they withstand the heavy foot traffic, but they are easy to clean and maintain for protecting your flooring. Floor cleaning is relatively easy and can often be safely and hygienically cleaned using a damp mop. In most cases, you can disinfect these floors using an appropriate cleaning solution. However, it's always vital to check the label first to avoid any flooring damage. Also, make sure you use the recommended amount to avoid the risk of slips and falls. Over the years we have completed many projects for hospitals and NHS trusts throughout the Coventry and Warwickshire area, including Warwick Hospital, Central England Rehabilitation Unit Hospital, Rugby St. Cross Hospital, University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, and Stratford Hospital.
