E&M Services are specialists in carrying out flooring and remodelling works to ‘live’ areas of buildings. We regularly carry out flooring and decorating to active parts of hospitals, police stations and schools. Some areas just can’t ever close because the services they provide are too important to close a department down. E&M Services work with our clients to find a way to achieve their goals of laying new flooring, carrying out painting and decorating or even installing Whiterock hygienic wall cladding in ways that do not disturb our clients’ services.
In March 2017, we have been carrying out such a project for one of Warwickshire’s hospitals. Working 
closely with the Estates Department we have managed to carry out a refurbishment of a specialist cancer treatment unit without affecting treatment schedules. We have managed this by initially visiting site to assess the client’s needs; liaising with key departmental management; planning an effective work schedule; monitoring and planning specialist health and safety; and carrying out the refurbishment works in stages throughout the night. The works have involved painting and decorating and installing Altro Whiterock hygienic wall cladding system to the entire department including procedure rooms, specialist treatment rooms, waiting and circulation areas, general treatment areas, emergency treatment area, toilets and corridors. All of this has occurred during the night and each day the department has been open to carry out their vital services.
